Artemis Watch Usage Guide

Your Artemis Watch does a lot more than tell the time.

Here’s everything you need to get started — and how to pair it with your phone.

Getting started

Click the Back button and the display lights up. The current time and date are shown in the centre of the screen — don’t worry if they’re wrong at first, you can adjust them in Settings.

In the upper left corner you’ll see the battery icon showing the current charge level. When the bar runs out, it’s time to recharge.

While the watch is charging, the LED lights up. When it turns green, your battery is fully charged.

Pairing your Artemis Watch with your phone

Your Artemis Watch connects to your phone over Bluetooth. On iPhone you don’t need an app at all — the watch pairs directly from your phone’s connection settings, and you’ll be asked to allow notifications to show on your watch.

On Android, you’ll use our free CircuitMess Connect app.

1. Update your watch firmware first

Artemis Watches made before August 2026 need a firmware update before the app can find them. Connect your watch to a computer with the USB-C cable, open CircuitBlocks at code.circuitmess.com, choose Restore firmware and select your device. This clears anything saved on your watch, so do it before you set things up.

2. Install CircuitMess Connect

Download it from Google Play — check that the publisher says CircuitMess.

3. Allow the permissions

The first time you open the app it asks for the permissions it needs to find and talk to your watch. A few of them open your phone’s settings. Once they’re all granted, you can continue.

4. Get your watch ready

Turn it on, make sure it’s charged, and keep it near your phone.

5. Pair

Open the Devices screen, start a search, and tap your Artemis Watch when it appears in the list. If nothing happens, wake the watch’s screen and tap again.

That’s it — notifications will now come through to your wrist.
