Building Sparkly is a hands-on way to learn about photoresistors – the components that let it "see" and react to light. You'll also get familiar with electric motors and how they power the car's movement, and general electronics.
We recommend Sparkly for ages 7 and up. Building the robot car and remote involves working with small electronic components, so it's best suited for that age group. Younger children can definitely participate with adult supervision.
Sparkly is a great way to learn about electronics – no previous experience required! The kit comes with everything you need, and the instructions are easy to follow.
Most builders can assemble Sparkly in about an hour. It's a manageable project, and that's when the real fun starts – playing with the light sensor and remote control!
To unlock the bonus game, find the token included in your Sparkly kit. Follow the provided instructions to unlock your game. (Bit console sold separately).
