Our December was... quite interesting

An amazing month is behind us here in the MAKERbuino HQ.
Here's what we've been doing:
1) We were exhibiting MAKERbuino at Maker Faire Rome - the biggest Maker Faire in the whole of Europe.

The organizers of the faire awarded us with the Maker of merit prize - a blue ribbon that is annually given to exceptional exhibitors.

At the same Maker Faire, we were chilling with Aurelien Rodot, the creator of the Gamebuino project.

The MAKERbuino project would not be possible without a great amount of support from the Gamebuino team, especially its creator - Aurelien.
In case you already don’t know, the Gamebuino team recently released a Kickstarter campaign for their new project called Gamebuino META - it’s a sequel to the original Gamebuino - a game console that heavily influenced MAKERbuino and motivated me to start MAKERbuino’s Kickstarter campaign.

2) Zagreb Connect startup competition - 1st place
We’ve pitched the idea behind MAKERbuino to a team of judges and business angel investors on one of Croatia’s biggest startup competitions organized by Zagreb (the capital of Croatia) and the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE).
We’ve also snatched the first prize – a bicycle and ~USD10k!

3) Everybody wanted a MAKERbuino for Christmas.
In late November/early December this year, we've experienced the biggest demand for MAKERbuinos since the initial Kickstarter campaign.
Because of that, we had to close all orders on 8th December and are still recovering from the Christmas market.
New MAKERbuinos are being made as we speak, preorders are open and if you order your MAKERbuino today, you'll get it in January.
We're exhausted... Everybody wanted this bad boy under their Christmas tree
