Daniel Robert, Netherlands

We recently started subscribing to circuitmess stem boxes to replace another known brand. The difference is night and day. We have completed two projects and are looking forward to the next one.

Daniel, The United Kingdom

Excellent kit for introducing children to electronics. It lets them understand that technology can be crafted and not only consumed.

FAQ

Here are our most asked questions. Can’t find what you’re looking for?

Which subscription line should I choose?

We currently offer two different subscription lines - Wacky Robots & STEM Box.
Here are the main differences between the two:

Wacky Robots subscription:
Ages 9+
• Projects delivered monthly
• You can choose from 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year of pure STEM fun
• Projects teach about electronics
• All the projects are completely tailored to beginners

STEM Box subscription:
• Ages 11+
• Projects delivered every 3 months
• You can choose from 1 month, 1 year or 2 years of pure STEM fun
• Projects teach about electronics & coding
• The projects are of medium complexity but totally beginner-friendly

Can I skip a Box or choose the Box I want to get?

Once you subscribe, you cannot skip a Box.

However; you can cancel your subscription at any time. That way you can cancel your subscription before we start shipping the Box you do not want to get and re-activate your subscription prior to us shipping the Box you do want to get.

You can check the shipping schedule of each Box on the STEM Box or Wacky Robots page.

How much does it cost?

The pricing is different depending on the line you choose. The more months you subscribe to, the better price you’re getting.

Wacky Robots subscription (projects shipped every month):
• 1 month: $31.99/Box
• 3 months: $29.99/Box
• 6 months: $27.99/Box + a free Tools pack
• 1 year: $24.99/Box + a free Tools pack

STEM Box subscription (projects shipped every 3 months):
• 1 month: $99.99/Box
• 1 year: $84.99/Box + a free Tools pack
• 2 years: $74.99/Box + a free Tools pack

Can I get a Box without subscribing?

Yes!

Once you click on the "Subscribe" or "Buy now" button, you'll see "Learn about our termed subscriptions" written near the bottom of the screen.

Termed subscription means you won't be automatically charged for renewal once your prepaid period expires.

i.e. You can buy a one-month subscription through termed subscription, and you won't be charged for another box after that one. The box you'll get is the one marked with "Ships: Now" on our website.

So, if you only wish to receive a particular kit, check its shipping date and subscribe to a termed subscription in the month your desired kit is being shipped.

Wacky Robots shipping schedule

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide - you can get a Box no matter where you are in the world.

The estimated shipping time is 4 to 6 days, and the best part is that we offer free tracked shipping!

Both!

If you're a beginner, choose our Wacky Robots subscription line and easily enter the exciting world of electronics.

With Wacky Robots, you'll learn about the basics of electronics topics like LEDs, Ohm's law, resistors, capacitors and much more.

Choose our STEM Box subscription line if you're a more experienced maker.

With STEM Box, you'll learn about topics like Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and other skills of the future. You’ll also find that our kits are completely customizable, with endless tinkering and modification options in both hardware and software.
